Nani Stori is a digital platform where families can gather and play audio stories for their young kids, narrated by their loved ones.  By collecting and playing these  stories, we help create lasting emotional connections between children and their loved ones.

To start, families download the Nani Stori app and set up their Stori Circle by inviting their loved ones to record stories. The invitation is sent as a link shared via email, or text message (US and Canada only). The invitees can record their stories using a smartphone or their laptop/tablet. These recordings are then compiled into a playlist, which can be played back to the child, allowing them to hear and recognize familiar voices.

Audio stories harness the power of voice to establish an emotional connection without the need for visual aids. We wanted to give the child an opportunity to focus on a familiar voice without the distraction of screens, making it easier for bedtime, meal times, and other occasions where being screen-free might be a priority.

Simply set up your account on our app and send a Stori Circle Invitation through our platform. This process is very similar to an evite you might have sent for a party. Your invitees will receive a link via email or text message depending on how you set them up. They can click on the link and start recording, or upload a previously recorded file.

Once a story recording is submitted, it appears in your playlist on the Nani Stori app. You can play them directly from the app or download it and play it yourself.

A Stori Circle Invitation costs $20 to send to unlimited invitees. The first 5 stories you receive are free. Additional stories you receive will cost $3.99 for every 5 stories. You only pay for what you use.

The invitation fee covers the magic behind the scenes — creating your Stori Circle, sending invitations, and reminding loved ones to record, making it easy for them to record. It also includes your first 5 stories with 3 months of listening.

You’ll still have access to the convenience of Nani Stori (sending, nudging, organizing). Most families find that recordings start to come in once loved ones get that first gentle reminder. Many come through in the last week.💌

Each story pack lets you listen to 5 recorded stories and costs $3.99. You only pay when additional stories arrive.

We know your family and friends love you and your child, but everyone's pressed for time. Follow the tips below when you create your Stori Circle Invitation and make it easy for them:

• Tie your invitation to a milestone like a birthday or a new school transition
• Use the relationship names when you add your invitees. eg. Nana instead of Mary Jane
• Explain how you truly feel about hearing their voices and having them in your child's life
• Use a pic of your kiddo. How can they say no that cute smile?!
• Provide prompts by sharing what your kiddo enjoys
